Roebling Road Raceway

Roebling Road Raceway

Team AI joined a group of great people from across the southeast for two super days at Roebling Road Raceway just outside of Savannah GA.  Fifteen cars and lots of track time.  The first day was a little damp in the morning but allowed drivers not familiar with the track the opportunity to do some slow “get to know the track laps”.   Lots of track time from 8-5 and the mobile bar opened at 5 for all to relax.  Most of us rented campers and stayed on the property so the commute was measured in yards!  We look forward to joining the group again in 2021.  Team AI

AI sponsored track day at Carolina Motorsports Park

We hosted 16 cars on the first ever AI sponsored track day at Carolina Motorsports Park.  This will become a regular event being held several times a year starting 2021.  COVID impacted us starting full speed in 2020.  The weather was perfect and a great time was had by all from the first timers to the professional drivers who attended the event.  Look forward to seeing everyone at future events.  Watch the website for updates.   Team AI

1995 Ferrari 348

The project starts with owner seeing a rendering of a Ferrari 355 with a custom made wide body, then a conversation with the builder about his ideas on a 348, talks of SEMA… Fast forward to finding an engine in Belgium to rebuild with upgrades and arrange its shipping to Automotive International.   Enjoying a glass of wine a 1995 Ferrari 348 appears on e-bay, the owner cannot resist, the bidding is about to end, a week later the 348 appears at AI and the journey begins.

The 1995 348 arrives with an engine in it. The engine from Belgium is already disassembled and at the machine shop so this one is coming out.

The engine was not bad, just a little tired, and one cannot have too many engines in the garage.
