We wonder sometimes how our customers find the cars and then how they find us. Over the years we have done minor service to complete award winning restoration on vintage and modern day cars such as Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz (including Gullwings), Porsche, Alfa Romeo, MG, Healey, Morgan and many more. While we developed our expertise on Rolls-Royce / Bentley and Ferrari maintenance, major services, tuning, engine rebuilding, and body work over 18+ years, we are now privileged to work on other similar period cars. We have also done several American muscle cars and custom pick-up trucks over the last ten years. A key to our success with such a variety of cars is that our technicians understand how motors and cars work. They understand the “how and why” of motors, transmissions, hydraulic systems and electronics. We also have the experience to replace, repair or fabricate most body parts or trim to get the exterior to the desired result. Most of our technicians have 20+ years’ experience with these cars. We work closely with our clients to understand their vision, desires, and budget to create their personalized automobile.

MECHANICAL / SERVICE

Our services range from basic tune-ups, to hydraulic system repair to complete engine rebuilding. Automotive International’s master technicians have the deep expertise and understanding of how vintage and current era automobiles function and how to service or repair them for optimal performance. Whether it is simple maintenance, a complete overhaul of any of a car’s systems, a rebuild of an engine or sorting the electrical systems, we have the expertise. BODY SHOP / RESTORATION / PRESERVATION / INTERIOR

We have a full service body shop with a state of the art paint booth. Our capabilities range from minor collision to complete frame off restoration. Whether your automobile is aluminum, metal, wood, or wood framing clad with aluminum or steel, we have the experience to repair and, as needed, reconstruct to the original design or customize to your preference. We are experts at spraying a variety of paint finishes such as lacquer, solvent or water borne paints to meet any client’s requirements. Our meticulous preparation and painting processes through final waxing provides each client’s automobile with a show quality finish. We have years of experience refinishing trim to its original luster, having chrome restored to concours quality, hand polishing aluminum and stainless and gently massaging an original trim piece to its proper original form. We would be honored to work on your prized automobile from the classic eras through today.

Our interior craftsmen can provide full service to bring your interior back to its original glory or custom fabricate upholstery and trim pieces. Whether leather repair and dying, or as intricate as refurbishing the complete interior from dash to carpet to headliner, we have the expertise. Through long standing relationships with providers of some of the best and most authentic materials in the world, we can replicate original interiors.

We can also bring to life the original wood trim, often making the finish appear deeper with better grain quality than when the automobile was new. We can repair damage or just refinish as needed.
